The Northern Ohio
Illustrator's
Society - NOIS - is a non-profit professional organization of
illustrators committed to the continued support and promotion of
excellence in the fine art of illustration; the education and
discussion of the creative, aesthetic, technical business and ethical
issues in the profession; the mentoring and development of students and
potential professionals; the building of a professional community
through socializing, communication and networking; and the increased
awareness and use of Cleveland illustrators on a local and national
level through gallery shows, brochures and contributions to the
Northern Ohio
Community.
The Sandusky Cultural Center takes pride in presenting a selection of works in a wide variety of media, styles and techniques curated by the President of NOIS, George F. Kocar. The Best of NOIS opens with a public reception for the artists on Sunday, February 26 and continues through April 2, 2006. |

fine arts, provide a focus for multicultural awareness, and introduce
