OUTSIDE THE BOX the Sandusky Cultural Center has invited ten contemporary
photographers and five wood artists.
Each of the photographers has concentrated on techniques that might be considered alternative. Their creativity allows us to present cyanotypes, dye transfers, prints on handmade papers and fabrics, x-rayography, assemblages, pinhole images and darkroom produced composites. The wood artists literally make exquisitely crafted boxes of the finest woods, from furniture to palm size containers. OUTSIDE THE BOX opens with a public reception with the artists on Sunday, November 9, from 1:00 until 4:00 P.M. and continues at the usual hours through Sunday, December 14. |
